Warehouse Team Leader

Position: Warehouse Team Leader Location: Melton Mowbray (LE14) Hours: Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 16:00 (40 hours per week) Salary: £30k per annum + overtime Contract Type: Permanent We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Melton Mowbray. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage both their own workload and efficiency of the warehouse operation. Key Responsibilities: • Managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking on average anything between 80 to 100 items per day • Planning and organising your own workload while overseeing team performance during busy periods • Maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and cleanliness in the warehouse • Ensuring all operational requirements are met in line with business needs The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Proven experience in a warehouse team leader • The ability to use their own initiative and work independently • Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead • A proactive mind set, capable of driving team performance and supporting continuous improvement • A self-sufficient approach with a clear focus on achieving targets and operational goals What We Offer: • Permanent position with a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum • Overtime available • Bonus scheme of up to £10,000 per annum, paid at the company's discretion based on performance after qualifying period • Supportive working environment with opportunities for development If you are a motivated individual who takes ownership of their work, leads by example and enjoys the challenge of meeting targets while managing a small team, we’d love to hear from you.
