Process Safety Engineer

As Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for driving and enhancing process safety standards across a key manufacturing site based in Kingston Upon Hull. Operating at scale across international markets, they play a critical role in supplying essential products to a diverse customer base. Description The Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for, however not limited to; Providing specialist technical support across process safety within site operations and capital projects Leading and facilitate process hazard analyses, including HAZOP, LOPA, and Process Risk Assessments Supporting and govern Management of Change (MoC) processes to ensure effective risk mitigation Partnering with cross-functional teams to embed best-in-class process safety tools and methodologies Driving improvements in process safety performance, risk reduction, and asset reliability Leading or supporting incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions Ensuring delivery of risk assessments and associated actions in line with agreed timelines Developing and implement performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and governance structures to strengthen safety performanceProfile A successful Process Safety Engineer should have: A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. Proven knowledge of process safety principles and regulations. Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify potential risks.
