Sector - Distribution, Specialty Chemicals, Composites, Advanced Materials Type – Hybrid Our Client is a distributor of specialty chemicals to high-growth sectors such as aerospace, defence, transportation and renewable energy. they are seeking a Sales Manager to sell raw materials to manufacturers that are producing composites and advanced materials, as opposed to supplying the completed product. Consideration will be given to those in a technical role (chemist or technical services) who have a sound knowledge of advanced materials or composites. Responsibilities: * Achievement of budget and KPI’s as set on an annual basis * Management of key accounts by providing excellent commercial and technical awareness * Business development by generating growth through customer acquisition, product acquisition and identifying new products for existing and new markets/applications * Recording of customer data and interactions within a CRM System. * Responsible for regular customer visits within their territory (but sometimes other geographies where applicable) with prompt reporting * Responsible for working closely with the Company’s Principals, to provide the highest levels of service and representation * Accurate reporting of sales figures and opportunity pipeline to senior management * Future opportunities to take on Product Management responsibilities * Representation of the company at trade events * Work closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure the highest standards of customer care Whitehall is the Recruitment Specialist for the Chemicals, Coatings, Polymers and Life Science Industries
