Commercial Finance Manager

An excellent opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to join a growing multi site business in a newly created role focused on financial planning, analysis and decision support. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in providing financial insight across the business, helping to shape strategic decisions through high quality analysis, forecasting and performance reporting. This is a visible role with exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the direction of the finance function. Key responsibilities will include: Ownership and development of the budgeting and forecasting process Preparation of monthly board and management reporting packs Financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision making Development of KPI reporting and performance dashboards Analysis of business performance, trends and key drivers Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across the organisation Supporting investment appraisals, business cases and growth initiatives Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial visibility Providing insight and recommendations to support senior management decision making Ad hoc analysis and project work as requiredThe successful candidate will be: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Able to demonstrate strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills Comfortable presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders Commercially aware with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insight Advanced Excel user with strong analytical capabilitySalary: £65,000 - £75,000 IPS Finance has 45 years’ experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
