Industrial Electrician

Electricians Required - BESS Project - Monk Fryston We are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced Electricians for a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Monk Fryston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale energy infrastructure scheme working within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. The project offers consistent hours, competitive rates and the chance to work on a technically interesting installation alongside an experienced site team. We are particularly keen to speak with electricians who have previous experience working on: BESS / Battery Storage projects Substations Industrial installations Energy or infrastructure projects Large commercial or heavy industrial environments The Role Duties will include a range of electrical installation works across the BESS site, supporting the delivery of key energy infrastructure works. Typical responsibilities may include: Installation of containment systems Cable pulling and termination Tray, basket and conduit work Panel and equipment installation Working alongside commissioning and engineering teams Ensuring all works are completed safely and to project specifications This is a fast-paced project environment, so candidates must be able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety. Project Details Location: Monk Fryston Start Date: 8th June 2026 Duration: Ongoing until end of August 2026 Hours: 45 hours per week Working Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 Rate: £32.00 per hour Payment: Umbrella/CIS Status: Inside IR35 Requirements To be considered, candidates should have: Relevant electrical trade qualifications ECS/JIB card Previous industrial or infrastructure project experience Ability to work from drawings and site plans Strong awareness of site health & safety procedures Previous BESS or substation experience is highly desirable, although electricians from other heavy industrial backgrounds will also be considered.
