SF Partners are working with a fantastic global organisation who are looking to onboard an experienced Senior Management Accountant in their Frankfurt office. The Senior Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial management of the region/regions, delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and insight to support decision-making. Operating in a complex, multi-entity environment, the role requires a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who can independently resolve problems, support colleagues, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. Key tasks: Financial Reporting & Control - Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for region/regions, including detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year. - Ensure balance sheet integrity through robust reconciliations and review of key accounts. - Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are met. - Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with group accounting policies. Business Partnering & Financial Insight - Partner with regional commercial and operational teams to provide financial analysis and performance insights. - Challenge assumptions and highlight risks, opportunities, and performance drivers. - Engage proactively with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide meaningful financial support. - Seek opportunities to engage in constructive dialogue with stakeholders, strengthening financial understanding across the organisation. Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management - Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the region/regions. - Work with budget holders to ensure forecasts are robust, accurate, and aligned with business priorities. - Track performance against KPIs and support performance improvement initiatives. Audit, Compliance & Governance - Support external and internal audits, including international audit requirements across the region/regions. - Ensure compliance with local statutory obligations and group finance policies. - Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and audit documentation where required. Leadership & Team Contribution - Act as a trusted resource for colleagues with less experience, sharing knowledge and supporting development within the finance team. - Take accountability for the quality and delivery of team outputs, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. - Set clear expectations regarding deliverables, deadlines, and standards when coordinating activities across the team. - Involve colleagues early in discussions where issues may impact them, encouraging collaboration and shared problem-solving.
