Area Sales Manager


Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager required to join a growing industrial distribution business. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business development and managing a broad customer base across the South of England. You will focus on selling engineered industrial solutions, including pneumatics, fluid power, and power transmission components, to a range of end users and distributors. The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager will ideally have a strong distributor-to-end-user sales background, an established network in relevant industrial sectors, and experience managing the full sales cycle. Full product training will be provided. Package: £45,000 – £55,000 base salary (depending on experience) Company car or car allowance Pension contribution 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Private healthcare and additional benefitsArea Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager Role: Sell engineered mechanical and power transmission products, including pneumatics, fluid power components, bearings, gearboxes, couplings, belts, and associated solutions to end-users and distributor partners across the South of England. Develop and manage key accounts with a focus on growth and long-term relationships. Handle a broad range of industrial products, managing margin pressures and complex sales cycles. Provide expert technical knowledge and commercial advice to clients on product applications and solutions. Field-based role covering multiple locations across the South, including Milton Keynes, Somerset, Bristol, Kent, and Hertfordshire.Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager Requirements: Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or Technical Sales Engineer selling industrial products. Proven distributor-to-end-user sales experience, ideally in power transmission, pneumatics, fluid power, or related mechanical products. Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple accounts independently. Established network within relevant industrial sectors. Technical background or understanding of mechanical/industrial systems desirable. Full clean driving license and willingness to travel across the South of England
