Production Planner

CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for a Production Planner in Newton Abbot, TQ12. Duties: * Developing a robust production schedule, ensuring customer demand is met, whilst considering production optimization * Ensuring labour requirements are met and shortages are communicated where required. * Evaluating raw material and all other bill of material requirements to ensure everything is in place to meet production requirements. * Tracking and reporting the progress of goods as they are being manufactured to ensure they remain on schedule. Liaising with all departments and communicating any issues that may arise. * Evaluate production and supplier performance, recommend improvement to any areas which are directly impacting the planning process/performance * Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust production schedules as needed, ensuring schedules are such as to ensure production optimization Shift Pattern: * Monday – Thursday 07.00 – 16.00 & Friday 07.00 – 12.00 * No Weekends The finer details: * On going Work * £30,000 - £35,000 * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays This is a great opportunity and if you would like to discuss your next Career move, please do not hesitate to get in touch with CareerMakers now
