Job Title: Assembly Operative Location: Braintree, Essex Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 3pm | 8am – 4pm We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Braintree, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team in a hands-on role that involves assembling components using hand tools, interpreting technical drawings, and carrying out packing duties. Key Responsibilities: Assembly of components using hand tools Interpreting and working from technical drawings Operating light machinery (training provided) Performing quality checks to maintain high standards Packing of finished products Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Meeting daily and weekly production targets Following written and verbal instructions accurately Requirements: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Comfortable standing for the duration of your shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Capable of repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team Immediately available or available to start at short notice Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle – this is essential If you are detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy practical work, we’d love to hear from you!
