Forklift Driver Start Date: ASAP Basic Pay Rate: £13.49 per hour Reporting to: Warehouse Team Lead Working Days: Monday – Thursday Working Times: 07:30 – 16:15 Breaks: 2 × 15-minute paid breaks per shift 1 × 30-minute unpaid break per shiftJob Description We are currently recruiting for a forklift driver to support operations within the CMB Stores down in the Fawley area. This role is initially on a temporary ongoing basis until the end of the year. There is potential for extension and possible permanent employment.   Flexibility required to support additional hours during the week and at weekends when needed.   Main Responsibilities Take responsibility for own safety and the safety of others Pick materials for issue to site Store materials in racking and shelving locations Load and unload materials using a forklift truck Monitor the warehouse service counter Receive and receipt goods deliveries Enter data into the Warehouse Management System (SAP) and spreadsheets Dispatch materials as required Respond to ad hoc tasks and requests from management  Candidate Requirements  Good numeracy, literacy, communication skills, and attention to detail IT literacy (training provided where appropriate) Forklift truck experience (training provided where appropriate) Ability to prioritise workload and work independently and as part of a team Ability to take initiative while knowing when to seek guidanceWhy Pertemps?   We’re a trusted recruitment partner, connecting talented people with opportunities that match their ambitions/lifestyle.
