HVAC Engineer - Gateshead

We’re Hiring: HVAC Engineer ❄️🔧 🚨 📍 Gateshead 💷 Up to £42,000 + Benefits 🕒 Monday to Friday | 40 Hours Per Week We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer ❄️🔧 to join a leading engineering team in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large-scale, fast-paced critical environment, supporting the maintenance and operation of HVAC and mechanical building services systems across a busy operational site. 🔧 What you’ll be doing: ✔️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems ✔️ Fault finding, servicing, and repairing air conditioning and ventilation equipment ❄️ ✔️ Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and associated plant equipment ✔️ Supporting plant room inspections and routine maintenance activities ✔️ Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety and compliance standards 🦺 ✔️ Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately 📝 ✔️ Working closely with the wider engineering and site teams to ensure smooth operations 👷 What we’re looking for: • F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential) ❄️ • Previous experience within a commercial maintenance or Facilities Management environment • Strong HVAC fault-finding and maintenance experience 🔧 • Good understanding of mechanical building services systems • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and problem-solving skills ⭐ Desirable: • Experience working within critical or fast-paced environments • Multi-skilled maintenance experience • Knowledge of compliance and plant room operations 💼 What’s on offer: 💷 Salary up to £42,000 per annum 🕒 Monday–Friday working pattern ⏱️ 40-hour working week 🏢 Opportunity to work on a high-profile site 📚 Ongoing training and development opportunities 📈 Career progression within a professional engineering environment 🏦 Company benefits package 🚀 If you’re an experienced HVAC Engineer ❄️🔧 looking for your next opportunity within a stable and professional environment, we’d love to hear from you
