Mobile Electrical Engineer Birmingham & Surrounding Areas Monday–Friday Role Salary: £43,000 + Van & Fuel Card We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company covering commercial sites across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The Role As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties. The role is field-based and includes the use of a company van and fuel card. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs * Fault finding and diagnosis on electrical systems and equipment * Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and associated systems * Complete electrical testing and inspection tasks where required * Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations * Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts * Accurately complete maintenance reports and job documentation Requirements * AM2 qualification or equivalent electrical qualification essential * NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent * Previous experience within Facilities Management or commercial maintenance * Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills * 18th Edition desirable * Full UK driving licence required * Excellent communication and customer service skills What’s On Offer * £43,000 basic salary * Company van & fuel card provided * Monday to Friday working pattern * Overtime opportunities available * Pension scheme * Training and development opportunities * Work for a leading and reputable FM company * Stable, long-term career prospects If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for your next mobile maintenance role in Birmingham, we would love to hear from you
