Contract SEN Teacher – based near Royston, in South Cambridgeshire  We are proud to announce that our client, a specialist independent day school for children and young people aged 6 to 19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs near Royson, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a passionate  SEN Teacher to join their team. This role as a SEN Teacher offers the chance to work within a forward-thinking SEN school based near Royston, in South Cambridgeshire, where no two days are the same. The school prioritises inclusivity, understanding, and fostering independence among their learners. Contract: Long Term/ Temp to Perm Start Date: June 2026 or asap Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons suitable for students with complex needs Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Implement specialist teaching strategies to support children with diverse and complex needs Assess and monitor student progress, recording achievement and areas for development Promote a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment for all students Work with external professionals and families to ensure holistic student support What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant teaching experience in SEN settings Experience in working with children with complex needs and special educational needs Strong behaviour management skills and patience The ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual student needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills A proactive approach to supporting inclusive learning environments Our Commitment to Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities At Inspire EHC and our partner school, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is our highest priority.
