Life sciences BDM / Senior Sales Manager - UK remit Sector: Pharmaceuticals / Life sciences supply chain Salary: £55,000k - £65,000k + £30k bonus OTE Type: Full time permanent – Home based Location: Manchester – Head office UK remit Global Organisation UK & USA markets This is an excellent opportunity to join a global pharmaceuticals organisation in a BDM / Sales Manager appointment. You will target, development and onboard new global pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations in this sales / BDM position. This is a new role to the business and you will be able to add real value to the commercial team and organisation in a time of growth across the UK & USA. Key Areas: - * New customer development - pharmaceutical and life sciences * Customer partnerships – relationships * Maximising commercial opportunities and contract growth * Events / marketing / brand / trade shows, relationship contacts, networking and Trade events * Being self-motivated, solutions focused and a credible, first-class communicator * GMP / cGMP environment experience * Mixed / cross sector – drugs, blood, equipment, biologics, tissues Key Duties and Responsibilities * Planning & Execution for sales strategy * Focus on UK – Global Pharmaceuticals sector / Life sciences supply chain * Partner with commercial teams to tailor messaging for pharmaceutical manufacturer audiences. * Set messaging strategy for products across all channels * Face to face sales meetings / presentations, operating at a high level * Have a good understand the GMP & cGMP environments to meet client requirements at all times. * Achieve high rate of successful conversion and closure of all sales opportunities. * Plan and organise sales calls in the territory for effective use of time and economic considerations to optimize performance goals within each account. * Maintain knowledge of product/service, market/industry trends, regulatory changes, competitors, and customers and communicate to management in real-time. * You will forward plan and manage the product marketing calendar * Working collaboratively with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to maximise the outcomes of the performance channels. * Lead the product messaging, customer research & reporting * Manage and drive an integrated multi-channel marketing strategy Person Specification * Degree level qualification * Pharmaceuticals / Life sciences supply chain sales exp * Ability to think on your feet and make independent customer and commercial decisions within an agreed framework. * Strong network * Good understanding for UK pharmaceuticals GMP manufacturing * Commercial bids / tenders
