Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) Salary: £53,800 + Overtime Location: Hemsworth - commutable from (South Kirby, Pontefract, Barnsley, Rotherham, other Wakefield surroundings) Shift pattern: 12hours 3 on 3 off days and nights Holidays: 20days Benefits: OTE up to £55-58k + £750 welcome bonus + Life Assurance x3 + Excellent training including; Electrical/PLC training + Exclusive members discounts + Health car cash plan and much more!! The Company ATA have partnered with a well-established family run business, who have been operating for over 100 years supplying to some of the biggest names in the retail sector. As the maintenance engineer you will be working on fully automated kit at their main head office site in Wakefield. They are looking for a maintenance engineer who is versatile, flexible to accommodate to seasonal working hours and is a methodical thinker and do’er when it comes to diagnosing and fault find on various machinery and components. You will work alongside a team of multi skilled maintenance engineers on conveyors, baggers, palletisers, baggers and much more. The Role As the maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include: Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery Fault finding primarily on mechanical components including bearings, shafts, gearboxes rollers and much more Maintain levels of critical spares Fabricate/make parts with abit of welding, use of lathes etc Requirements As the maintenance engineer, our client requires: NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in engineering ideally in mechanical engineering Good understanding of fault finding both mechanically and electrically Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment Experience on worked within a automated factory is high advantageous but not essential The Benefits: In the role of the maintenance engineer, you should expect: Being part of an aspiring team in a £multimillion-pound market leading business Attractive salary of anywhere between £53,800 Training including upskilling on your electrical to carry our more multi skilled maintenance £750 welcome bonus, paid after 3 months Overtime paid at 1.5 to boost your annual income ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
