Multimodal Freight Forwarding Pricing Coordinator Location: Solihull Salary: Up to £36,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, Working pattern: Hybrid working We are recruiting for a Multimodal Freight Forwarding Pricing Coordinator to join a well-established freight forwarding and logistics business based in Solihull. This is a great opportunity for someone with freight forwarding experience who enjoys pricing, supplier negotiation, quoting, and working across multiple transport modes including air, sea, road, and multimodal freight. You will be responsible for preparing competitive quotations, supporting commercial teams, liaising with carriers and overseas agents, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely pricing solutions. Package and Benefits Salary up to £36,000 Hybrid working - 2 days from home Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Salary sacrifice pension scheme with 7.5% company contribution Perkbox, including Employee Assistance Programme Healthcare scheme Eye Care Scheme Workplace Nursery Provision Long service awards Annual performance awards Free parking The Role As a Multimodal Freight Forwarding Pricing Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Preparing and managing freight quotations for air, sea, road, and multimodal shipments Negotiating rates with carriers, hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents Supporting the sales and operations teams with pricing and tender requirements Building strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal teams Monitoring market rates and identifying competitive pricing opportunities Ensuring quotations are accurate, commercially viable, and delivered within agreed timescales Maintaining pricing records, tariffs, and internal systems Supporting customer enquiries and providing professional freight solutionsThe Candidate The successful candidate will have: Experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or international transport Knowledge of multimodal freight, including air, sea, and road freight Previous experience in pricing, quotations, procurement, or operations Strong communication and negotiation skills Good commercial awareness and attention to detail The ability to work in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment Confident IT skills and experience using freight systems or Microsoft Office A proactive, organised, and customer-focused approach Apply Now This is an excellent opportunity for a freight forwarding professional looking to develop their pricing career within a growing multimodal logistics environment.
