Electrical Assembler

We’re hiring for an Electrical Assembler to join a global manufacturing business based in Droylsden. In this role, you’ll be assembling, testing and packing electrical and electromechanical products, working from engineering drawings and company documentation. What’s on offer? * £13.50 per hour, rising to £14.00 after 12 weeks * Temp to perm * Mon– Thu | 8am – 4:30pm * Friday: 8am – 12pm * Weekly pay * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Bonus scheme * Pension scheme * Cycle to work scheme * Social events and Christmas party * On-site parking What will you be doing as an Electrical Assembler? * Assembling electrical products * Reading and working from engineering drawings * Using resins, glues and curing agents * Assembling optical units, wiring looms, cables and electromechanical components * Testing or calibrating assemblies * Packing products, from individual items to site kits * Handling process materials safely * Using computerised assembly, test and stock control systems What will you need? * Electrical assembly or wiring experience * Experience with assembly, testing, packing or material handling processes * Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, method sheets or samples * Confidence using general hand assembly tools * IT literacy, including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook Interested?
