Mechanical Estimator

Mechanical Estimator We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Mechanical Estimator to join a fast-paced team environment for a leading engineering company in Southampton. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across a broad range of operational and administrative functions while supporting business growth and delivering excellent service standards. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and confident managing multiple priorities in a collaborative setting. Responsibilities * Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the wider team * Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications with internal and external stakeholders * Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting systems * Assist with project coordination and ensure tasks are completed within agreed timelines * Support process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives * Handle enquiries professionally and ensure a high standard of client or customer service * Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support business objectives * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations Ideal Experience & Skills * Experience with mechanical systems and or piping, any prefabricated systems experience advantageous * Previous experience in a similar administrative, operational, or coordination role * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail * Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively * Confident communication skills, both written and verbal * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common business systems * Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Professional, reliable, and adaptable approach to work * Experience working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous Salary £40,000 - £45,000 Hours Monday to Friday with a lunchtime finish on Fridays On-site role Benefits * Company pension * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Opportunities for professional development and career progression * Supportive and collaborative working environment If you could be interested in this fantastic Mechanical Estimator opportunity, please apply and we'll be in touch to discuss further
