Job Title: Shuttering Joiner (Formwork Carpenter) Location: Anglesey, North Wales Project Duration: 26 Weeks (Guaranteed) Start Date: Immediate / TBC upon clearance --- About the Role We are seeking a skilled Shuttering Joiner for a major 26-week civil engineering project on the Isle of Anglesey. You will be responsible for producing high-quality formwork and shuttering to support the concreting and blinding elements of the scheme. This is a long-term, stable role for a precise and safety-conscious professional. --- Key Responsibilities · Manufacture, erect, and strike formwork / shuttering to a high standard · Set out and install reinforced concrete formwork ready for pouring · Interpret engineering drawings and cutting lists accurately · Work alongside groundworkers and concreters to ensure seamless pours · Maintain a clean, safe, and productive site environment --- Requirements (Essential) · CSCS card (Skilled Worker - NVQ Level 2 in Formwork / Carpentry & Joinery minimum) · Full UK driving licence and own transport (Anglesey location - no public transport reliance) · Checkable references - must cover recent shuttering / formwork roles · Must pass drugs & alcohol testing - zero tolerance policy · Proven ability to produce accurate, plumb, and tight formwork for concrete blinding --- Desirable - Advantageous Tickets Holders of the following will have an advantage: · IPAF (1b or 3a & 3b - for MEWP access on formwork installation) · NVQ Level 3 in Formwork · Slinger Signaller · Abrasive Wheels --- What We Offer · 26 weeks of guaranteed work (potential extension) · Competitive hourly rate (DOE - discuss on application) · Weekly pay · Long-term stability on a major Anglesey scheme --- How to Apply Send your CV confirming your CSCS card type, IPAF status (if held) and ability to pass drug & alcohol screening.
