We are recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to join a busy and growing manufacturing business based in Grantham. This is a varied and hands-on position supporting the day-to-day running of the office, transport coordination, goods movement, and operational administration. Working closely with the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in keeping processes running smoothly across the business. This opportunity would suit someone with previous experience within manufacturing, logistics, transport, warehouse, or operations administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of their workload. Key Responsibilities * Managing incoming calls and general office enquiries * Coordinating transport and freight bookings with external providers * Preparing delivery notes, labels, consignment paperwork, and shipping documentation * Processing goods received and maintaining accurate records * Supporting goods in/goods out administration * Maintaining organised filing systems and document control * Processing operational paperwork and internal reports * Supporting compliance procedures and monthly site inspections relating to BRC * General office administration and support for the wider operations team What We’re Looking For * Previous administration experience within a manufacturing, logistics, transport, or operational environment * Strong organisational and communication skills * Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems * High attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively * A proactive and reliable approach to work * Experience with transport coordination or compliance administration would be advantageous Working Hours 38¾ hour week * Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm * Friday: 8:45am – 4:00pm This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive business where you can become an integral part of the operations team.
