Supply Chain Director

Company: An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Supply Chain Director to lead and transform its end-to-end supply chain operation. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for developing a resilient, efficient and scalable supply chain strategy that supports operational excellence, customer satisfaction and long-term business growth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping procurement, planning, logistics, inventory management and supplier performance across a complex manufacturing environment. The business is looking for a confident and credible leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement a high-performing supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives * Lead procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics and inventory functions across multiple sites * Build strong supplier relationships whilst improving cost, quality, delivery and risk management performance * Drive operational efficiencies, continuous improvement initiatives and service excellence throughout the supply chain * Improve forecasting, demand planning and stock optimisation processes * Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, finance and commercial teams to support business priorities * Lead and develop a capable supply chain team, fostering accountability, collaboration and high performance * Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring resilience and continuity of supply * Support strategic growth initiatives, including new product introduction and operational expansion * Deliver meaningful reporting and insights to the senior leadership team Profile: The ideal candidate will be an accomplished supply chain leader with significant experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
