Electrical Shift Engineer – City of London Location: City of London Salary: £53,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 4s, 3s & 6s Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights) Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. Duties & Responsibilities * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems * Fault finding and repairing electrical plant and building services equipment * Maintaining and servicing systems including:LV electrical systems, Lighting & emergency lighting, UPS systems, Generators, AHUs & FCUs, Pumps and motors, BMS interfaces * Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and site regulations * Updating maintenance records via CAFM systems * Liaising with clients, contractors, and the wider engineering team Requirements * City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent * 18th Edition qualified * Previous experience within commercial building maintenance * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability * Good communication and client-facing skills * HV/AP experience advantageous but not essential Salary & Benefits * £53,000 basic salary * Continental shift pattern – days & nights * 20 days shift holiday * Overtime available * Company pension scheme * Ongoing training and development * Excellent progression opportunities Additional Benefits After Probation * Cycle to Work Scheme * Perkbox platform * Auto Enrolment Pension (3% employer / 5% employee) * Life Insurance (x2 salary) * Vitality Private Health Insurance * Dental, Audio & Visual cover included This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation offering a modern working environment, attractive benefits package, and genuine opportunities for career growth.
