Site Manager – Main Contractor Location: Greater London Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 DOE + Package Experienced Site Manager required for a leading main contractor delivering residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects across Greater London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Manage all on-site activities from inception through to completion • Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and suppliers • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and site procedures • Monitor project progress against programme deadlines • Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging works • Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management teams • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation • Lead site meetings and ensure effective communication across teams Requirements: • Proven experience working for a UK main contractor • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential • Strong knowledge of construction processes and H&S legislation • Excellent organisational and leadership skills • Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme targets Package: • £50,000 – £70,000 basic salary depending on experience • Car allowance / travel allowance • Pension and bonus scheme • Opportunity to progress within a growing contractor
