Maintenance Engineer Walsall £54,000 + 5% Bonus 4 on 4 off Days & Nights (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am) 10% Pension + Overtime (1.5x, 2x) A large-scale manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join a brand-new, highly automated production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment on state-of-the-art equipment including conveyors, robotics and automated production systems. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: Reactive maintenance and fault finding across all production machinery Working on conveyors, packaging lines, slicing equipment and robotics Working safely within control panels and isolating equipment correctly Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities when required What We’re Looking For To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer position, you should have: A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.) Previous experience within manufacturing or automated production Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems A positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop What’s On Offer? £54,000 salary + 5% bonus Average earnings around £60,000 with overtime 10% pension scheme Enhanced overtime rates at 1.5x and 2x Extensive training including Siemens PLCs and inverter systems Clear progression opportunities into team leader, management or specialist engineering roles Brand-new, heavily invested manufacturing site This Maintenance Engineer role would suit engineers from manufacturing, heavy industrial, building products, FMCG, recycling, automotive or process environments.
