Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer (HVAC) 📍 Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich (SE18 4QH) 💷 £21.20 per hour PAYE | £28.00 per hour Umbrella 🕒 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 📅 5-month minimum contract (Temp to Perm opportunity) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer (HVAC) to join a busy NHS Facilities Management team based in Woolwich. This is a great opportunity for a skilled HVAC engineer to secure long-term work within a healthcare environment, with potential to move into a permanent role. Key Responsibilities • Respond to chiller breakdowns and faults • Service and maintain air conditioning systems • Fault finding on split systems and VRV/VRF units • Carry out planned and reactive HVAC maintenance • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in a live hospital environment Requirements ✔ F-Gas Category 1 (essential) ✔ Strong experience with air conditioning systems (split, VRV/VRF) ✔ Proven experience in chiller fault finding ✔ Minimum 7 years’ experience in HVAC / AC engineering ✔ Ability to work independently on a live site ✔ Strong understanding of health & safety procedures Desirable • NHS / healthcare FM experience • Multi-skilled building services background • Experience with planned maintenance systems 📩 Apply now with your CV if you are interested in this role
