Service & Installation Engineer Field Based | UK Travel Up to £48,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Are you an electrically biased Service Engineer looking for a varied role with a strong work/life balance, flexible hours, and the opportunity to work with specialist machinery? We are looking for a Service & Installation Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected engineering business specialising in EDM machinery. This is a hybrid role combining both machine installations and service/maintenance work across customer sites throughout the UK. The Role Installation and commissioning of EDM machinery at customer sites Service, maintenance, calibration and fault finding Electrical, electronic and some mechanical diagnostics Software updates and machine performance improvements Providing technical support and excellent customer service Producing technical service reports What We’re Looking For Electrical or Electronic Engineering background Experience in fault finding and maintenance engineering Good understanding of electrical/electronic systems Mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic knowledge advantageous Strong customer-facing skills Full UK driving licence EDM machinery experience is beneficial but not essential What’s On Offer Salary up to £48,000 Flexible working hours Brand-new company vehicle, upgraded every 2 years Fully expensed travel and overnight stays Typically staying away from home only 2–3 times per month Christmas bonus Private healthcare Pension scheme 33 days holiday including bank holidays Mobile phone and all tools provided This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a mix of hands-on installation and service work, while being part of a company that genuinely values and rewards its engineers
