Assembly Operative Woodworking and General Labour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative (Woodworking & General Labour) to join a busy workshop environment. Location: Blackburn Shift Hours: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Duties include: * Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure * Assisting with basic woodworking and general labour tasks * Assembling products using diagrams and instructions * Packing finished products and preparing them for dispatch * Packing equipment and occasionally travelling to site to assist with installations or on-site work * Supporting general workshop duties as required * Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy * Following health and safety procedures at all times * Working both independently and as part of a team What we’re looking for: * A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude * Ability to work on your own initiative * Physically fit and comfortable with manual work * Willingness to learn and develop woodworking and assembly skills * Good attention to detail * A good level of numeracy and communication skills * Ability to follow instructions and diagrams accurately * A strong awareness of health and safety * A full UK driving licence is advantageous What’s on offer: * £12.71 per hour * Full training provided * Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a woodworking and production environment If you’re interested, please apply with your CV and a member of our team will be in touch
