Setting Out Engineer – High-Rise RC Frame Projects An established and highly respected main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their growing delivery team on complex high-rise developments across London. This is an opportunity to work on landmark schemes involving reinforced concrete frame construction, slipform cores, and large-scale residential and mixed-use developments exceeding 30 storeys. The business has a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging projects to a high standard and offers genuine long-term career progression within a stable and growing team. You will play a key role in the engineering and delivery of major high-rise projects from early construction through to completion, working closely with project and site teams to ensure programme, quality, and technical standards are achieved. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for RC frame and high-rise structures * Managing QA procedures and as-built records * Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring technical compliance * Supporting site management with sequencing and programme delivery * Working alongside project teams on complex structural packages * Assisting with temporary works, logistics, and engineering solutions * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained throughout delivery Requirements * Proven experience on RC frame projects in London * Previous involvement on high-rise developments of 30+ storeys * Strong understanding of slipform construction and core packages * Background working with main contractors or specialist RC frame contractors * Competent using surveying equipment and reading technical drawings On offer: * Strong communication and coordination skills * Opportunity to work on flagship London developments * Long-term pipeline of complex high-rise schemes * Clear progression into senior engineering or management roles * Supportive and technically strong project teams * Competitive salary and package depending on experience If you would be open to a confidential discussion regarding the opportunity, please apply or get in touch directly for further information
