SEN Teaching Assistant (Year 2) – The Dingle Primary School | September 2026 Start The Dingle Primary School | Full-Time | Long-Term Role Pay: £95 – £100 per day (DOE) Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm | September 2026 – July 2027 Astro Education is proud to be working in partnership with The Dingle Primary School to recruit a dedicated full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support within a Year 2 classroom from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive school community, working closely with two SEN pupils to help them thrive both academically and socially throughout the school year. The Role You will be providing tailored support for two SEN pupils within a Year 2 classroom environment. * Supporting two pupils with additional learning needs on a 1:1 and small group basis * Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted support * Helping pupils remain engaged, confident, and motivated throughout the school day * Supporting learning, emotional development, and classroom participation * Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment The pupils are non-violent, and the school offers excellent support and guidance for staff.
