Jackson Hogg is working with a key client in Stockton who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant into their finance team. You will support senior stakeholders with high-quality financial information and play a central part in the month-end process across multiple business units and/or client entities. The role: * Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts across assigned divisions/entities * Producing accurate, insightful financial information for board-level and budget holder use * Partnering with operational management and financial stakeholders, providing regular updates and analysis * Ownership of sales and purchase ledger processes, including debt management * Supporting and overseeing junior team members * Leading on month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations * Preparation of statutory accounts, including audit support where required * Acting as a key contact for external auditors * Supporting cashflow management, forecasting and VAT returns About you: * Fully qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent) * Proven experience producing management accounts and financial reporting packs * Strong technical accounting knowledge, including reconciliations and month-end processes * Ability to deliver clear financial insights and build relationships with stakeholders * Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team What’s on offer: * Competitive salary * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Flexible benefits package * Discounts platform * Employee Assistance Programme * Onsite parking
