Site Engineer

Site Engineer - 7/8 Week Contract - Scotland & North East We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to provide short-term paternity cover across multiple infrastructure project sites throughout Scotland and the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong all-round engineer who is comfortable supporting live site operations, quality documentation, lift planning activities, and occasional setting out duties. Pay £(Apply online only) Per Day (Inside IR35) Location Projects across: Wooler Simprim Haddington Rhynd (Perth) Charlestown (Dunfermline) Pettinain (Lanark)Travel between sites will be required, so candidates based centrally within Scotland/Fife/Kinross areas would be advantageous. Contract Details Contract Role 7-8 Week Duration Start Date: 1st June Competitive Day RateResponsibilities Completing WC Quality Check Sheets Supporting Lift Plans and lifting coordination activities Providing day-to-day engineering support on site Carrying out occasional setting out duties Maintaining accurate site documentation and records Supporting quality, safety, and compliance procedures Liaising with site teams and subcontractorsRequirements Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects Experience with quality documentation and site compliance Knowledge of Lift Plans and associated site activities CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently across multiple sitesDesirable AutoCAD experience Setting out experience Infrastructure or utilities project backgroundThis role would suit a proactive engineer who can quickly integrate into established site teams and support ongoing works with minimal supervision.
