Commercial Gas Engineer – Leicestershire LE18 – £39,000 Location: Leicestershire LE18 Salary: up to £39,000 per annum Shifts: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 About the Role We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider at a large site in Leicestershire LE18. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across commercial gas systems and building services equipment within a modern commercial environment. Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Gas Engineer • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems and associated building services equipment. • Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime. • Fault-finding and remedial repairs on boilers, heating systems, gas appliances, and associated plant equipment. • Work alongside electrical and mechanical teams as part of a multi-skilled maintenance operation. • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation. Requirements of the Commercial Gas Engineer • ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1 or equivalent). • Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance environment. • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across commercial gas and heating systems. • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a maintenance team. • Good communication and teamwork skills.
