AMJ Recruitment are looking for Manufacturing Team Leader (with an FLT License) to join our valued Manufacturing Client, based in Coventry, CV6. You must have an FLT License, and demonstrate a good background within Manufacturing Management. Salary - £17.61 per hour, weekly pay (Salary rises after 12 weeks) Hours - Weekly Rotating Shift (AM and PM) AM Shift - 06:00am to 14:15pm Mon-Thurs. Fri 06:00am to 12:30pm (5 day Working Week) PM Shift - 14.00pm to midnight Mon-Wed. Thurs 14.00pm to 23.30pm (4 day Working week) Term - 12 week Temp to Perm Start Date - ASAP Reporting into - Production Manager Job Duties Include: - Maintain Health & Safety and Environmental Standards - Ensure team members are aware of the quality standards required - Supervise and Manage: Oversee daily operations of the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. - Motivate Team Members: Inspire and encourage team members to perform at their best, fostering a positive work environment. - Set Goals and Objectives: Establish clear performance goals for the team and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. - Delegate Tasks: Assign responsibilities based on team members' strengths and skills, ensuring optimal task distribution. - Provide Training and Support: Offer guidance and training to team members, helping them develop their skills and improve performance. - Monitor Performance: Track team progress and performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed. - Communicate with Management: Act as a liaison between the team and upper management, reporting on progress and addressing any issues that arise. - Able to retain and distribute information to the team - Driving Fork lift truck when required to meet production targets - Participate in root cause investigation via 8d methodology - Encourage continuous improvement throughout the team - Develop and implement cost saving ideas - Hold briefings with team members as required - Use the maintenance system to identify tools or assets that require repair/refurbishment - Identify training needs of team members and arrange for training as necessary - Ensure team members understand how they are doing, including formal performance reviews. - Pass off production runs as required - Setting of equipment (Presses or Assembly processes) in line with formal training - Operating equipment when necessary to meet customer requirements.
