Construction Health & Safety Assistant


We are looking for a proactive and organised Health & Safety Assistant / Co-ordinator to support the day-to-day management of health & safety, compliance, and administration across our projects and sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience and an interest in health & safety and HR support within a fast-paced environment. Working Hours * Monday to Friday * 07:30 – 17:00 * Flexibility is essential, as working hours may vary depending on business and site requirements Salary * Pay dependent on experience Key Responsibilities * Managing and maintaining document control systems * Assisting with health & safety compliance and administration * Carrying out site audits and inspections * Coordinating onboarding and inductions for new operatives * Maintaining training records, certificates, and compliance documentation * Supporting accident and incident reporting procedures * Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and management * Assisting with HR-related administration and employee records * General office and compliance administration duties Requirements * Previous administration experience is essential * Strong organisational and communication skills * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks * Full UK Driving Licence required * Willingness to travel to sites when required * Experience within construction or health & safety administration is advantageous Benefits * Company van provided * Ongoing training and development opportunities * Supportive working environment with opportunities for progression If you are organised, reliable, and looking to build a career within Health & Safety and Compliance, please apply with your CV
