Registered Manager - Children’s Home Location: Shirebrook, Derbyshire Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE) + excellent benefits Contract: Permanent, full-time Overview We are supporting a forward-thinking, innovative children’s residential provider who are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a 2* bed EBD home* in Shirebrook, Derbyshire. This is a great opportunity to lead an established home within a caring and supportive organisation. Duties & Responsibilities * Leading the day-to-day management of a 2-bed EBD children’s home. * Ensuring each young person has an individualised care plan reflecting their emotional, educational, social, cultural, therapeutic and health needs. * Regularly reviewing and updating placement plans. * Allocating Key Workers and overseeing the effective delivery of care plans. * Building strong working relationships with families, carers, local authorities and external professionals. * Overseeing budgets and ensuring cost-effective service delivery. * Ensuring staffing levels and staff competencies meet the needs of the young people. * Ensuring all new staff receive a full induction and ongoing personal development plan. * Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulations and best practice in residential childcare. * Providing strong leadership, professional supervision and support to the staff team.
