This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to develop a long-term career within the building services and construction industry. The successful candidate will support the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of commercial, industrial, and residential M&E projects, working alongside experienced estimators within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities * Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions for mechanical and electrical projects * Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation * Carry out quantity take-offs and cost analysis * Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations * Support senior estimators with pricing exercises and bid strategy development * Maintain accurate estimating records and project data * Liaise with internal departments, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors * Assist with the ongoing review of project costs and commercial information Requirements * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline * Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn within a fast-paced environment Desirable * Understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems * Previous internship, placement, or work experience within construction or estimating * Familiarity with estimating software packages Qualifications * Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or similar relevant subject
