Site Officer - Immediate Start | Ongoing Multiple school sites, Buckinghamshire (Wycombe) Ongoing temporary opportunity Full-time - 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Site Officer to join a busy and supportive school trust. This is an immediate start, ongoing temporary position - perfect for someone reliable, practical, and proud of keeping environments safe, clean, and running smoothly. The Role You'll play a key role in maintaining school buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-presented environment for students and staff. Your day will include: General maintenance, caretaking and reactive repairs Opening/closing sites and managing site security & alarms Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating tasks Grounds maintenance (grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing pathways) Supporting deliveries and moving furniture Responding to urgent issues and occasional out-of-hours emergencies Travelling between sites to support where needed What We're Looking For Previous experience in a caretaker / maintenance / handyman role Practical skills across basic trades (plumbing, carpentry, decorating) Good understanding of health & safety procedures Able to work independently and prioritise workload Strong communication and reliabilityFull UK driving licence & access to a vehicle -essential Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) - essential Bonus Experience (Desirable) Experience working within a school or education setting Formal trade qualifications (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) Why Apply?
