Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET) Location: Newcastle Company: Consultancy Salary: Up to 130k (depending on experience) Platform Recruitment has partnered with a high-calibre consultancy that is growing rapidly and building out new sectors. This is a high-calibre team with a high bar for engineering excellence. You'll take on real ownership early and work alongside strong engineers working on complex distributed systems. They are looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise across C#/.NET and modern frontend technologies. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a division within the consultancy, with significant scope for progression and leadership. The Role * Work closely with stakeholders to understand technical challenges and deliver scalable software solutions * Design, build, test, and maintain modern full stack applications * Lead greenfield development projects from architecture through to deployment * Collaborate directly with client engineering teams * Build high-performance, mission-critical software platforms * Play a key role in shaping and growing the engineering team Requirements * Excellent experience with C#/.NET and backend system design * Experience building modern frontend applications using technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue * Strong understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, and scalable application architecture * Comfortable working in a consultancy environment across different clients and projects * Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills If this role is of interest, please apply below
