Senior Technical Manager

Senior Technical Manager £55,000 – £60,000 per annum + Benefits Llanelli Winberry are recruiting for an experienced Senior Technical Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Llanelli. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong food manufacturing professional with experience managing customer relationships, driving quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining technical compliance, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring high food safety and quality standards are consistently achieved across the site. Key Responsibilities Manage technical relationships with customers and external stakeholders Support customer audits, site visits, and technical reviews Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards Work closely with production and operational teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions Support internal and external audit activities Review specifications, technical documentation, and customer requirements Assist in maintaining and improving quality management systems Requirements Previous experience within a technical or quality role in food manufacturing Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems Experience working directly with customers and audits Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments Desirable Experience HACCP qualification Experience working with BRCGS standards Retailer-facing experience Food science or related qualification Package £55,000 – £60,000 per annum Company benefits package Career development opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing food manufacturing business offering long-term career development and the opportunity to make a genuine impact within the technical function.
