Class 2 Driver

Class 2 Driver HireGiant ltd are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire This is for a local haulage company, the company are a well known in the haulage and storage sector. You as the driver will need to complete deliveries of their goods to clients across the UK. There is a strong possibility for the Class 2 Driver to be placed on long term hire should they perform well without any incidents, lateness and repeated infringements. The Class 2 Driver Role: The Class 2 Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday; they do have optional weekend work for those who want it. The work starts immediately and involves making up to 1 or 2 deliveries, then a collection of goods on either a curtain side truck or box trailer wagon. HGV Class 2 experience is needed due to the nature of the work, along with HGV2 Driver experience, you must also be competent with strapping a load securely to follow HSE and driver regulations. Requirements for the Class 2 Driver role: Cat C entitlement on their licence Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest Working Hours: Monday to Friday (optional weekends) Start time between 06:00am & 08:00am (can accommodate earlier and later starts if prior agreed) Shifts will be between 9 -11 hours The hourly rate for this role is: £15.95 - £17.35 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE to start Want to become a HiredGiant?
