CMM Quality Inspector

Position: CMM Quality Inspector Location: Gloucester Contract: Permanent | Full-Time Shift: Double Day Shift (Earlies/Lates) Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE Are you an experienced CMM Quality Inspector looking for a role offering excellent shift patterns, strong earning potential, and long-term stability? An established and growing precision engineering business is seeking a CMM Quality Inspector to join their quality team on a double day shift. Benefits Competitive salary (£32,000 – £38,000 DOE) Double day shift pattern (early/late rotation) Overtime opportunities available Company pension scheme 25 days holiday + bank holidays Ongoing training and development Modern workshop with advanced inspection equipment Long-term job security within a growing business Free on-site parking Role Responsibilities: Carry out inspection of machined components using CMM and manual measuring equipment Program and operate CMM machines Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure product compliance Complete first-off, in-process, and final inspections Record and report inspection results, highlighting any non-conformances Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards Ensure all inspection activities are completed in line with company and industry standards The Person: Proven experience as a CMM Quality Inspector within a manufacturing/engineering environment Experience using CMM software (e.g. PC-DMIS, MCOSMOS, Aberlink or similar) Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Flexible to work a double day shift pattern If you are an experienced CMM Quality Inspector looking for your next opportunity within a well-established and forward-thinking engineering company, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
