The Role You’ll support learners across a range of programmes, helping them develop confidence and achieve success in Maths qualifications. Deliver engaging GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths lessons Support learners with varying abilities and educational needs Plan and deliver inclusive and effective teaching sessions Monitor learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback Prepare learners for exams and assessments Create a positive and supportive learning environment What We’re Looking For We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds: Essential: Experience teaching Maths Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics Ability to engage and support post-16 learners Strong communication and classroom management skills A flexible and reliable approach Desirable: Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DET) Experience within Further Education or secondary education Experience delivering GCSE or Functional Skills Maths Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Coming from schools?
