Senior Geotechnical Engineer Location: Slough Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 A leading specialised ground engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established consultancy delivering major infrastructure, commercial and residential developments across the South East. You will work on a wide range of technically challenging projects, managing site investigations, mentoring junior engineers and providing geotechnical design input from feasibility through to construction. The Role Managing and supervising ground investigations across a var iety of sectors Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports Geotechnical design including foundations, retaining walls, slope stability and earthworks Liaising directly with clients, contractors and regulators Supporting and mentoring graduate and junior engineers Managing project budgets and ensuring delivery to programme Assisting with business development and client relationship managementRequirements Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or a related subject Strong experience within a geotechnical consultancy environment Experience producing interpretative reports and geotechnical assessments Knowledge of Eurocode 7 and current UK standards Ability to manage projects independently Excellent communication and client-facing skills Chartered status or working towards chartership preferredWhat's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Clear pathway to Principal and Associate level Support towards chartership if required Exposure to major infrastructure and development projects Friendly and collaborative team environment Ongoing technical and professional developmentThis role would suit a motivated Senior Geotechnical Engineer looking for more responsibility, project ownership and long-term progression within a growing consultancy environment
