Transport Manager

Position: Transport Manager Location: Bognor Regis Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE) Are you an experienced Transport Manager looking for an autonomous role where you can truly make an impact? We're are looking for a candidate who is a hands-on Transport Manager to oversee and develop our clients day-to-day transport operations. What's on Offer Salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience) Pension scheme Stable, growing business with long-term prospects Employee discount scheme Christmas shutdown Genuine opportunity to make a real impact within a busy operation The Role Oversee the daily transport operation, ensuring efficiency and compliance Manage driver performance, compliance, and routing Ensure all transport activities meet legal and safety standards Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs Fleet compliance Act as the key point of contact for transport-related issues Work closely with senior management to support business growth What We're Looking For Previous experience in a Transport Manager or senior planning role Valid Transport Manager CPC (essential) Strong knowledge of transport compliance and driver regulations Ability to work independently and take ownership of the operation Waste industry experience is ideal, but not essential Backgrounds in general haulage, logistics, or similar will be considered A proactive, solutions-focused mindsetIf you're looking for a role where you're trusted to run the operation and make decisions, this could be the perfect next step.
