KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND SERVICE STANDARDS * Monitoring of costs & maximising value on schemes * Previous Target Cost Experience * Term Service Contract Experience using SOR to produce Task Quotations * Preparation of cost/value information * Accurate forecast for management accounts * Monthly review of accounts * Financial assessments through to final agreement * Assisting with procurement and other preconstruction activities * Experienced user of EXCEL and CEMAR * Keeping to all deadlines agreed * Consistently working at a level to achieve the tasks required * All correspondence acknowledged or actioned within a reasonable period * All reports submitted within 1 day of close of reporting period * Attend site visits to review progress, measure works, and assess risks * Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications and RAMS WORKING HABITS AND CORE SKILLS * Positive, enthusiastic team player * Flexible in terms of hours worked and attitude * Effective communication * Time Management * Good organisational skills * Accuracy / attention to detail * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Demonstrated initiative * Ability to work to deadlines EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * BSc Quantity Surveying * RICS or HND * At least 5 years’ experience in the Construction Industry working under NEC conditions of contract
