Cost Manager

A leading global real estate and construction consultancy is seeking a commercially aware Cost Manager to join their established London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cost Manager to work across a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, delivering high-quality cost management services within a client-focused environment. The successful Cost Manager will play a key role in supporting project delivery across the full lifecycle, working alongside senior stakeholders while maintaining control of day-to-day commercial activities. The Cost Manager will collaborate closely with clients, project managers and design teams to ensure accurate cost control and consistent delivery across multiple schemes. The Company? * The Cost Manager will join a globally recognised consultancy with a strong presence in the real estate and built environment sectors * Extensive portfolio spanning commercial property, workplace, residential and mixed-use developments * Known for a client-focused approach, market insight and delivery of high-value projects across London The Role * Preparing cost plans, budgets and feasibility studies * Supporting procurement, tender documentation and contract administration (JCT) * Managing project costs, variations and change control processes * Supporting risk management and value engineering initiatives * Assisting with valuations, payments and final account agreements * Producing regular cost reports and financial updates for clients * Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes The Cost Manager? * Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline * Experience in a Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor or similar role * Strong understanding of JCT contracts * Experience across the full project lifecycle * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills * MRICS desirable or working towards chartership In return……? * £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) * Bonus scheme * Private healthcare * Hybrid working * Structured career development and APC support * Exposure to high-profile London-based projects This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cost Manager to develop their career within a globally recognised consultancy, working on a diverse and high-quality project portfolio.
