Head Chef – Care Home Location - Holt, Norfolk We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen in our care home and provide fresh, nutritious, and well-balanced meals for our residents. Key Responsibilities Plan and prepare high-quality meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences Create varied and nutritious menus Lead and supervise the kitchen team Manage stock, food orders, and kitchen budgets Ensure high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness Minimise food waste and maintain an organised kitchenRequirements Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations Experience managing and training kitchen staff Understanding of special diets and nutritional requirements Excellent leadership and organisational skillsQualifications NVQ Level 3 in Catering or equivalent (desirable) Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)What We Offer Competitive salary Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Pension scheme and paid annual leave Meridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy
