Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical Project Manager - Oxford / London £65,000 + Electric Company Car Mechanical Project / Contracts Manager required to take full ownership of mechanical projects from inception through to completion across a diverse portfolio of refurbishment and construction schemes. This is a delivery-led role managing multiple live projects (typically £1M–£6M) across Oxford, London and the wider South East. Current workload includes: * Laboratory project in Oxford * Student accommodation scheme (Oxford) * Hospital project (Oxford) * £6M hotel refurbishment (East of Oxford / M40 corridor) * High-end residential projects in London * Additional London-based commercial schemes Mechanical scope includes full delivery of HVAC and building services installations across live and refurbished environments. The role will involve running projects end-to-end while overseeing site teams and Project Managers, with responsibility for both operational delivery and commercial control. Key responsibilities include: * Full mechanical project / contract delivery from start to finish * Managing multiple projects concurrently (£1M–£6M range) * Leading site teams and Project Managers * Commercial management including variations and applications * Subcontractor coordination and programme control * Client and site coordination across live projects * Ensuring delivery performance across cost, quality and programme What they’re looking for: * Strong Mechanical Project Manager or Contracts Manager background * Experience delivering mechanical / HVAC building services projects * Commercial awareness (variations, applications, project financials) * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Confident leading site and project delivery teams * Refurbishment / live environment experience beneficial The business has a strong pipeline across healthcare, education and residential sectors, with a flexible structure that allows hybrid working depending on project requirements.
