CNC Programmer Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, setting up CNC machines, and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality. Duties * Program CNC machines using CAD software to create precise components according to specifications. * Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling and materials handling. * Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Fabricate parts by interpreting engineering drawings and applying appropriate machining techniques. * Assemble components as required, utilising hand tools and welding techniques where necessary. * Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make adjustments as needed to maintain production flow. * Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Requirements * Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. * Experience programming Siemens 808D Controls * Proficiency in CAD software for programming purposes. * Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with logic controllers and tooling. * Ability to operate hand tools and perform welding tasks effectively. * Experience in materials handling and an understanding of fabrication processes. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
