Packaging Team Leader. Birmingham, West Midlands. Manufacturing Business £33,200 + Benefits. 3 Shift Pattern – 6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6 – Monday-Friday. An excellent opportunity for a Team Leader with manufacturing experience to join a stable and progressive business. This role involves leading a team within a high speed and dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring the product is processed effectively! This role will suit a Team Leader who enjoys supporting the development of the team, managing workflow and aiming to make ongoing improvements! Role Description. * Effectively lead team to achieve the best operational performance. * Meet the packaging schedule while conforming to all product specifications. * Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping. * Ensure equipment is maintained properly. * Promote Health & Safety throughout department * Deliver line efficiencies above 85% without compromise to quality and safety. * Coach and develop others to improve performance across the department. * Assist in site fortnightly audits * Ensure all staff training is up to date, assist in carrying out return to work interviews. Skills and Qualifications. * Team leadership / supervisory experience * Experience within a manufacturing environment. * Clear communication skills and highly organised. * Ability to motivate and develop people within a team. * Computer literate.
